Job Summary
The Portfolio Manager plays a vital role in overseeing credit underwriting, as well as monitoring and managing relationships within commercial banking to uphold credit quality. Additionally, this position supports business development efforts, participates in loan closing activities, and ensures that portfolio administration adheres to the established bank policies.
Responsibilities
- Handle credit underwriting and assess the creditworthiness of commercial clients.
- Monitor ongoing commercial banking relationships to maintain high credit standards.
- Assist in business development initiatives and strategies.
- Facilitate loan closing processes efficiently.
- Maintain portfolio administration in compliance with bank policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2-3 years of experience in banking, with a focus on credit analysis or underwriting.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications and financial spreading software.
- Strong analytical capabilities and effective communication skills.
