Job Summary
The Postharvest Technician oversees a team dedicated to the processing of cannabis harvests, which encompasses the trimming, drying, curing, and packaging stages for sale or extraction purposes. This role also emphasizes the importance of maintaining cleanliness within the facility, sanitizing equipment, and ensuring that all documentation meets state regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the process of cannabis harvest processing, including trimming, drying, curing, and packaging.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the facility and sanitation of all equipment used in the postharvest process.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant state regulations regarding documentation and operational practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled manufacturing environment.
- Candidates must be at least 21 years old and capable of acquiring medical marijuana work credentials.
