Job Summary

The Power Plant Operator plays a crucial role within Facilities Management, focusing on skilled technical operations to ensure the effective and safe functioning of power generation equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the operational status of the power plant equipment.
  • Conduct repairs or replacements of key components such as condensers and compressors.
  • Utilize necessary safety equipment, including respirators and eye protection, to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Report directly to the Supervisor of Power Plant Operations regarding performance and maintenance issues.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in technical operations related to power generation.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to implement them in daily operations.
