Job Summary
The Power Plant Operator plays a crucial role within Facilities Management, focusing on skilled technical operations to ensure the effective and safe functioning of power generation equipment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the operational status of the power plant equipment.
- Conduct repairs or replacements of key components such as condensers and compressors.
- Utilize necessary safety equipment, including respirators and eye protection, to ensure a secure working environment.
- Report directly to the Supervisor of Power Plant Operations regarding performance and maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- Proficient in technical operations related to power generation.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to implement them in daily operations.
