Job Summary
The Preparation Technician plays a crucial role in the laboratory by accurately preparing mineral samples through crushing and processing, in accordance with defined standards. This position requires a commitment to maintaining the integrity of samples and adherence to safety protocols while ensuring that all laboratory equipment is kept in optimal condition.
Responsibilities
- Accurately crush and process mineral samples based on established procedures.
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
- Label samples correctly to facilitate tracking and identification.
- Comply with all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Experience in an industrial or laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Capacity to strictly adhere to safety procedures.
