Job Summary
The Principal Design Engineer is responsible for leading the logic design and RTL implementation of advanced digital intellectual property (IP), ensuring adherence to high standards in power, timing, and architectural specifications. This role emphasizes design excellence while also guiding and mentoring team members, fostering collaboration across various teams to make informed design trade-offs, particularly for AI-centric System on Chips (SoCs).
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of high-performance digital IP using logic design and RTL methods.
- Drive the quality of designs by addressing power, timing, and architectural needs.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to enhance the skills of team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize design decisions, focusing on AI-targeted SoCs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Significant technical experience in the field, typically ranging from 3 to 8 years based on educational background.
- Capability to pass specific security screenings and demonstrate proof of citizenship or residency for compliance with export control regulations.
