Job Summary
The Principal Scientist is responsible for spearheading the comprehensive design, engineering, and enhancement of therapeutic mRNAs to optimize both protein expression and stability. This role involves overseeing internal initiatives that propel mRNA cargo development for lipid nanoparticle (LNP) platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams to aid in pipeline advancement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering processes for therapeutic mRNAs.
- Optimize mRNAs to enhance protein expression and stability.
- Manage internal projects focusing on mRNA advancements for LNP platforms.
- Collaborate with various functional teams to support the development of the therapeutic pipeline.
Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry or academic setting, specifically in RNA therapeutics.
- Strong proficiency in mRNA architecture and sequence optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary projects.
