Job Summary
The X-Ray Technologist conducts standard radiologic examinations and executes medical support functions while operating under the guidance of a clinician. This role is essential in facilitating patient care and ensuring the maintenance of high-quality imaging standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine radiologic examinations as directed by supervising clinicians.
- Assist with various medical support procedures to provide comprehensive care.
- Handle patient registration and ensure an accurate flow of patient information.
- Maintain and oversee medical equipment to guarantee its reliability and efficacy.
- Ensure precise clinical documentation is recorded and maintained.
Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Must hold a state-approved Limited Scope Technician certification.
- A minimum of six months of experience in X-ray technology and medical assisting is required.
