Job Summary
This role involves spearheading the technical design and implementation of sophisticated, large-scale data products utilizing Azure Databricks and the broader enterprise data platform. In addition to overseeing project delivery, you will play a key role in providing technical guidance, mentoring fellow engineers, and establishing reusable engineering practices throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and execution of data products.
- Utilize Azure Databricks and enterprise data platforms effectively.
- Deliver production-scale solutions while ensuring quality and scalability.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineering teams.
- Define and advocate for the adoption of reusable engineering patterns across the organization.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in data or software engineering.
- Expertise in programming languages and tools, particularly Python, SQL, and Spark.
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or relevant practical experience.
- Strong understanding of lakehouse architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices is essential.
