Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in the operating room by ensuring a sterile environment and providing assistance to the surgical team during invasive operations. This position demands a high level of precision and support throughout various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment.
- Ensure that all surgical instruments are properly sterilized.
- Assist with draping patients appropriately for surgery.
- Provide ongoing support to the surgical team during procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress and physically demanding situations.
- Proficient in aseptic techniques and maintaining surgical safety standards.
- Capacity to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with facility safety and regulatory guidelines.
