Job Summary
The Process Engineer is responsible for the design, commissioning, and initiation of a TRISO Fuels Facility. This role involves creating process systems and technical documentation while collaborating with various teams to ensure the safe, efficient, and dependable operation of fuel fabrication. The Process Engineer will oversee equipment acquisition and prepare the facility for operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the commissioning of the TRISO Fuels Facility.
- Develop and document process systems and technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate equipment procurement to support fabrication operations.
- Prepare the facility for operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial or nuclear environments, particularly in highly regulated settings.
- Expertise in process design documentation and facility integration.
- Strong knowledge of hazardous chemical safety controls.
