Job Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for shaping the commercial strategy, steering the roadmap, and promoting market growth for a sophisticated product line. This position emphasizes defect recognition technologies tailored for semiconductor manufacturing as well as other emerging industrial fields. The role unites technical engineering expertise with commercial execution, requiring a leader adept at converting intricate acoustic and electronic attributes into valuable propositions, driving revenue growth, and fostering enduring customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive multi-year product roadmap by collaborating closely with R&D, engineering, operations, and quality assurance teams. Manage the complete product lifecycle from introduction through retirement and portfolio optimization.
  • Serve as the main commercial and technical contact for strategic clients, ensuring customer application needs are transformed into actionable product features and business opportunities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to address technical queries, oversee custom engineering projects, and guarantee delivery timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts, developing pricing strategies, optimizing margins, and finalizing formal commercial agreements in conjunction with regional and global sales teams.
  • Perform market analysis, competitive assessments, and trend evaluations across the semiconductor sector and related fields to uncover new revenue opportunities and construct data-driven business cases.
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation, promotional materials, customer presentations, and online content that accurately reflects product capabilities and aligns with brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a similar technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in product management, technical account management, or business development within the industrial, test-and-measurement, or semiconductor industries.
  • Proven experience in managing technical hardware or instrumentation product portfolios throughout their lifecycle.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical information effectively to executive, commercial, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of commercial principles, including margin analysis, market dynamics, pricing frameworks, and competitive environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in proficient English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with ultrasonic testing, non-destructive testing (NDT), transducers, or high-frequency pulser–receiver instrumentation.
  • Experience working in international or matrixed corporate environments.
