Job Summary
The Product Stewardship Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and managing the lifecycle of products. This position involves strategic communication with various stakeholders to guarantee product safety and sustainability while supporting organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product stewardship initiatives that align with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess product impacts on the environment.
- Coordinate with external partners and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and report on sustainability efforts.
- Provide training and guidance regarding product stewardship practices across the organization.
- Monitor and analyze changes in legislation affecting product stewardship and advise the organization on necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in product stewardship, sustainability, or regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing compliance issues.
