Job Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for managing the complete production process of licensed apparel, focusing on the coordination of vendor partnerships, cost management, and adherence to quality standards. This role is crucial in ensuring that all production timelines, samples, and shipments are executed punctually to align with the launch dates for theme parks and retail settings.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production lifecycle for licensed apparel.
- Manage and nurture vendor relationships to ensure compliance with production standards.
- Control and monitor costs associated with production.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
- Guarantee that production milestones, samples, and shipments are delivered on schedule.
- Collaborate with teams to meet launch dates for themed retail and park environments.
Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of experience in apparel production, preferably in licensed or high-volume retail programs.
- A bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, or a similar field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of garment construction and production systems.
