Job Summary
The Chemist plays a vital role in conducting regular chemical analyses, validating methods, and testing various materials including raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Additionally, the Chemist will modify current methodologies, oversee laboratory equipment, and uphold quality compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine chemical analyses of materials.
- Validate testing methodologies for accuracy and reliability.
- Test raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to ensure quality.
- Modify and adapt existing testing methods as necessary.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory instrumentation.
- Ensure adherence to established quality standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in a natural or physical science.
- Experience in method development and laboratory instrumentation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
