Production Operator
Location: Rittman, OH
Pay Rate: $23/HR
Shifts Available:
– 2nd Shift: 3 PM – 11 PM
– 3rd Shift: 11 PM – 7 AM
– Rotating Swing: 2-3-3-2
As a **Production Operator**, you will engage in a range of activities, including operating various machines and equipment across different shifts as needed. The role often requires significant physical effort.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Operator:
- Manage bagging and packaging equipment to achieve target output and meet operational standards.
- Fill, palletize, and transport products to designated storage areas.
- Make adjustments and carry out minor repairs to ensure ongoing production processes.
- Follow production schedules and accurately document operational metrics.
- Assist in ensuring that the production line is adequately provided with the appropriate salt grades.
Qualifications for the Production Operator:
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Capability to operate powered industrial vehicles is required.
- Experience in manufacturing settings is preferred.
- Must be open to working any shift and adhering to varying schedules.
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends when necessary.
- Ability to lift consistently up to 65 lbs., work at a rapid pace, and maintain standing, grasping, and other physical activities.
- Frequent actions include bending, carrying, twisting, reaching, feeling, and finger dexterity while managing loads up to 65 lbs.
- Must possess acute hearing and depth perception abilities.
- Frequent exposure to noise levels of 80 dB and above.
- Regular exposure to vibrations, dust, dryness, and mechanical dangers.
- Required personal protective equipment includes eye protection, hearing protection, head covering, and safety footwear.
