Job description
Job Summary
The Utility Operator 1 position is integral to the efficient operation of utility services. This role requires a proactive individual dedicated to maintaining and monitoring various systems to ensure optimal functioning and safety within utility environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain utility equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor utility systems and report any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Assist in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Support senior operators in their duties and learn operational best practices.
- Participate in training sessions and development programs to improve operational skills.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Basic understanding of utility operations and equipment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to comply with safety standards and regulations.
