Job Summary
The Production Operator plays a vital role in the setup and operation of extrusion machinery to create top-notch thermoplastic materials. This position involves consistent monitoring of production processes, executing product changeovers, and ensuring precise documentation of production activities, all while following established safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate extrusion equipment to manufacture thermoplastic materials.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform product changeovers as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and documentation.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols during operations.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid driver’s license is necessary.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is essential.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts is required.
- Prior experience in production is not mandatory.
