Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is accountable for overseeing shift operations to guarantee that safety standards, quality metrics, and production objectives are achieved while also managing and enhancing the performance of the shift team. This role includes the oversight of equipment maintenance, the implementation of process improvements, and various supervisory responsibilities, such as recruitment and performance evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage shift operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Oversee the performance and development of the shift team.
- Coordinate regular equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Fulfill all supervisory responsibilities including hiring and managing employee performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of operational experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Exceptional communication skills are essential.
- A bachelor’s degree and experience in lean manufacturing are preferred.
