Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the daily functioning of manufacturing activities, ensuring that workflows are appropriately organized, performance is assessed, and production objectives are achieved in a safe and effective manner. This role plays a crucial part in fostering team development and enhancing operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily manufacturing processes to meet production targets.
- Organize workflows to optimize efficiency and safety.
- Monitor performance metrics and make necessary adjustments.
- Train and mentor production personnel to enhance skill sets.
- Oversee scheduling and staff management to ensure adequate coverage.
- Collaborate with various departments to refine processes and improve outcomes.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- A bachelor’s degree accompanied by a minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated proficiency in composite fabrication techniques and manufacturing machinery.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
