Job description
Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production process within a facility to ensure efficient operations and high-quality output. This role involves managing staff, adhering to safety standards, and meeting production targets while continuously improving processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage production teams to achieve operational goals.
- Monitor production schedules and workflow to optimize productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct training and development for team members to enhance skills.
- Prepare reports on production metrics and communicate with management.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in production.
- A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
