Job Summary
The role involves ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness in the work area, while actively contributing to mill operations by operating equipment and performing physical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety standards and training requirements, particularly Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
- Operate designated machinery and report any operational issues.
- Perform physical tasks essential for continuous mill production, including lifting, pulling, piling, and sweeping.
Qualifications
- Demonstrates self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn and assist with a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Able to safely perform physical work while standing and walking in an active mill setting.
