Job Summary
The Professional Design Engineer will play a crucial role in the development of construction documents, specifications, and financial assessments for projects related to water resources. This position mandates taking responsibility as the engineer of record, ensuring that all engineering designs adhere to the relevant regulations, codes, and permit stipulations.
Responsibilities
- Independently create construction drawings for various water resource initiatives.
- Draft precise specifications and detailed cost estimates for projects.
- Serve as the engineer of record, ensuring design compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Review and ensure all project plans meet local and state permit requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates are required to hold a Professional Engineer license in the State of Florida, or have the ability to secure one within one year.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in engineering design software, particularly AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS Pro.
