Job Summary
This position focuses on developing and managing survey drawings and models using Civil 3D, while also preparing a range of deliverables including ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, plats, legal descriptions, exhibits, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys. The role requires collaboration with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure precision and adherence to standards.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain survey drawings and models through Civil 3D software.
- Prepare various deliverables such as land title surveys, legal descriptions, and topographic surveys.
- Coordinate with engineering and surveying teams to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct quality reviews of survey deliverables and improve drafting workflows.
- Provide mentorship to junior CAD staff and support their professional development.
Qualifications
- Minimum of six years of experience as a CAD Technician in surveying, civil engineering, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D software.
- Proven experience in preparing various survey deliverables.
- Solid understanding of surveying principles and documentation standards.
- Ability to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- An associate degree in CAD Drafting or a closely related field is desirable but not mandatory.
