Job Summary
The Procurement & Sourcing Consultant plays a critical role in enhancing the procurement strategies and operational efficiencies for the organization. This individual is responsible for analyzing supply chain needs, optimizing purchasing processes, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure high-quality sourcing solutions that align with the company’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and analyze their capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable pricing and service levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
- Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and sourcing within relevant industries.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is an advantage.
