Job Summary
The Project Accounting Supervisor or Project Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial aspects of construction projects. This position entails collaboration with program and construction managers as well as various professionals within the construction project accounting department. The individual will ensure accurate financial management practices are adhered to across projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting processes and maintain the integrity of financial data for construction projects.
- Manage logs and payroll reporting where necessary, ensuring compliance with local hiring laws.
- Process various payables, including operational overhead costs, to maintain smooth financial workflows.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams involved in project management to align financial strategies with project goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff within the project accounting department.
Qualifications
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
- Experience in project accounting, particularly within the construction industry is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
