Job description
Job Summary
The Project Architect plays a crucial role in the design and oversight of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and enhancing project quality. They collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to transform concepts into practical designs while managing project timelines and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and documentation process for various projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits and evaluations to ensure design intent is upheld throughout construction.
- Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and project updates.
- Ensure all designs adhere to applicable codes, regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Mentor junior architects and interns, fostering their growth within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensure as a registered architect is preferred or required.
- Proven experience in architectural design and project management.
- Strong proficiency in architectural design software and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to innovative design solutions and sustainable practices.
