Job Summary
The Project Estimator/Analyst plays a vital role in working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to create precise cost estimates for components and tools. This position also involves overseeing the actual project spending in comparison to the initial estimates, delivering valuable insights to management, and aiding the purchasing and planning teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing departments to generate accurate project cost estimates.
- Monitor actual project costs in relation to initial quotes to provide detailed insights for management decisions.
- Support the purchasing and planning teams in budgeting and cost management activities.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting with knowledge of cost accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated strong organizational abilities.
- Must possess US citizenship or hold permanent residency status.
