Job description
**Project Geologist/Engineer**
The Project Geologist/Engineer will oversee the day-to-day functions of the soil and materials laboratory, in addition to performing field investigations and overseeing construction activities. Key responsibilities include the preparation of technical reports, budget management for projects, and delivering geotechnical advice for a range of infrastructure initiatives. Candidates should possess a B.S. or M.S. in Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline and have 3 to 7+ years of pertinent experience. A professional registration such as a California PG or PE is highly desirable, alongside expertise in geotechnical software and field testing techniques.
