Job description

Job Summary

The Prototyping & Fabrication Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and creating prototypes that meet specific project requirements. This role demands innovative thinking and technical skills to transform concepts into tangible products, ensuring that all prototypes function as intended and align with design specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer prototypes based on project needs.
  • Oversee the fabrication process to ensure high-quality output.
  • Perform testing and evaluation of prototypes to verify functionality and design accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on designs and improvements.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and prototype fabrication tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
  • Experience with materials selection and manufacturing processes.
