7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36 hours/week)
Compensation
$50.50/hr (local) or $2214 (weekly gross for travel)
The Psych RN role is situated in a behavioral health unit, catering mainly to geriatric patients. The patient demographic primarily consists of individuals aged over 60, who may be dealing with issues such as dementia, depression, or suicidal ideation. The facility features 16 private rooms and maintains a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 to 6 or 7.
Key Responsibilities of the Psych RN:
- Monitor and care for patients within the behavioral health unit.
- Provide support in both the behavioral health and medical-surgical units as necessary.
- Perform blood draws and administer IV management as part of patient care.
Requirements for ED RN:
- Possess an active RN license in Ohio or a compact state.
- Hold current BLS and CPI certifications.
- Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent experience as a Psych RN.
- Include Epic experience from the past year on your resume (mandatory for consideration).
- Exhibit skills in venipuncture and IV initiation.
