Job Summary
The Nutrition Services Assistant (float) plays a vital role in delivering exceptional food service while supporting various departments within the organization. This position is focused on ensuring that nutritional standards are met and that meals are prepared and served efficiently, all while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, serving, and distribution of meals to patients and staff.
- Ensure that food safety and sanitation standards are adhered to at all times.
- Support other team members in various departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility in tasks.
- Engage with patients and staff to address dietary needs and preferences effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness in serving areas and assist with inventory management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in food service or nutrition-related roles is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and guidelines.
