Job description
The Psychiatric Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to inmates, which involves performing sick calls and executing emergency medical interventions. This role also includes overseeing and evaluating the care delivered by both licensed vocational and unlicensed medical personnel. Applicants should have a degree or diploma from a recognized nursing program and a valid state nursing license. Additionally, candidates must have at least one year of experience in psychiatric nursing and the capability to achieve ANCC Board Certification within two years of employment.
