Job description
**Systems Security Engineer**
The Systems Security Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure system architectures, ensuring alignment with DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF standards. This role involves conducting vulnerability assessments, facilitating remediation efforts, and overseeing essential security documentation including SSPs and POA&Ms. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in systems security engineering or information assurance. An IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, is mandatory or must be achieved within three months of starting the position.
