Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in overseeing resident care by adhering to treatment plans prescribed by physicians. This position involves careful documentation of residents’ responses to treatments and ensuring that care standards are met consistently.
Responsibilities
- Monitor resident care in line with physician-ordered treatment plans.
- Document residents’ responses accurately to ensure quality healthcare delivery.
- Administer prescribed medications to residents and manage the medication supply room effectively.
- Ensure the cleanliness and security of the medicine supply room.
- Create and maintain a supportive environment that addresses the physical, social, and psychological needs of residents.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid LPN or LVN license in accordance with state regulations.
- Strong ability to foster a supportive environment for residents.
