QC Lab Technician – Process & Analytical Lab
Cuyahoga Falls, OH
Sunday – Thursday
Tuesday – Saturday
$22 – $24.52 /hour + $.75/hour 3rd Shift Differential
QC Lab Technician will support the quality function within a dynamic manufacturing environment by performing routine and non-routine analytical testing to ensure compliance and support operations, R&D, and product development.
QC Lab Technician Responsibilities:
- Maintains a safe working environment; follows all safety procedures and protocols
- Performs testing to ensure the quality of incoming materials and manufactured goods
- Provides accurate and timely communication of test results
- Maintains system of testing, analysis and results
- Participates in activities as assigned to improve a product or process or in response to customer complaints
- Performs and/or provides support for process validation
- Performs and/or provides support for R&D, QA, Contract Manufacturing, and Supply Chain
- Maintains good housekeeping in work areas and performs assigned cleaning tasks
- Ensures hazardous wastes and other samples are properly contained and disposed of in accordance with policies and procedures
- Maintains laboratory supply inventory
- Washes and maintains glassware
- Sets up, adjusts, calibrates, cleans, maintains, and troubleshoots laboratory equipment
- Communicates verbally and in email and Teams messages, addressing quality issues, supports investigations
- Responsible for sampling water to prepare for analyses
- Analyze cleaning validation samples submitted to the labs
- Collects and analyzes water samples representative of that used for manufacturing product, research and development, and cleaning validation
QC Lab Technician Requirements:
- Associate's or BS in a science-related field, Chemistry or Biology preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-change environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Willingness to work 3rd shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
