Job description
The Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) plays a crucial role in the healthcare team by overseeing the preparation, administration, and documentation of medications under the guidance of a Licensed Nurse. In addition to medication management, they provide assistance to residents with daily living activities and engage in restorative care along with recreational programs. To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess valid state certifications as a Qualified Medication Aide and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Furthermore, applicants should have an impeccable history, free from any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident belongings.
