The Qualified Medication Aide is tasked with the preparation, administration, and documentation of medications while being supervised by a Licensed Nurse. In addition, they assist residents with daily living activities and aid in the execution of personalized care plans. Candidates are required to possess active state certifications as both a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Furthermore, applicants must have an unblemished record concerning cases of abuse, neglect, or the misappropriation of residents’ belongings.
