Job Summary
The Quality Control Engineer plays a crucial role in managing quality inspections of processes and final products to ensure they meet established standards. This position entails spearheading corrective action initiatives, addressing quality-related challenges, and supervising the certification of equipment as well as the maintenance of inspection instruments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage quality inspections throughout the manufacturing processes.
- Lead the implementation of corrective actions based on quality assessments.
- Address and resolve quality issues as they arise.
- Ensure the certification of equipment and maintain inspection instruments effectively.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or chemistry is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality control within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in statistical methods and data analysis.
- Familiarity with quality management systems is essential.
