Job Summary
The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for executing and recording various inspections, including visual, hydrostatic, and dimensional evaluations of ASME pressure vessels, ensuring compliance with established specifications. This role also involves coordinating with third-party inspectors and relaying workload updates and feedback to the Quality Director.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and document visual, hydrostatic, and dimensional inspections of ASME pressure vessels.
- Ensure that all inspections adhere to specifications and standards.
- Serve as a point of communication between the organization and third-party inspectors.
- Provide updates and feedback regarding quality control processes to the Quality Director.
Qualifications
- AWS Certified Weld Inspector credential is required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in quality control or a related field, or a relevant technical degree.
- Strong knowledge of ASME codes and standards is essential.
- Capability to perform and/or train others in Radiographic Testing.
