Job description
Job Summary
The PCB Layout Designer is responsible for creating and optimizing printed circuit board layouts for a variety of electronic products. This role requires expertise in design tools and a solid understanding of electrical principles to ensure high-quality manufacturing and performance of electronic circuits.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCB layouts based on the provided schematics and design requirements.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to analyze design specifications and troubleshoot layout issues.
- Optimize PCB designs for manufacturability, reliability, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in PCB design.
- Prepare documentation including fabrication and assembly drawings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proficient in PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and circuit design principles.
- Experience with layout design process and ability to follow detailed specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
