Quality Engineer
Raleigh, NC
$45-47/hr Quality Engineer supports product quality and warranty performance across CPS product lines, partnering with Engineering, Operations, Service, and Sales to resolve quality issues and improve overall performance. This role leads root cause investigations, drives corrective and preventive actions, and analyzes field and warranty data to improve product reliability, reduce warranty costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Quality Engineer Responsibilities
- Analyze product and warranty data to identify trends, issues, and root causes.
- Lead investigations and ensure effective short- and long-term corrective/preventive actions.
- Improve warranty CONC performance and field reliability to meet divisional goals.
- Drive closed-loop corrective action processes across cross-functional teams.
- Initiate, assign, manage, and close corrective actions.
- Serve as liaison to Field Engineers (CSEs) for customer quality issue resolution.
- Maintain and enhance data collection systems and analytics to support continuous improvement.
- Provide “Lessons Learned” input to ETO and New Product Development processes, including FMEA, Control Plans, Quality Plans, and DFA.
- Support Customer Quality strategy and related initiatives across the CPS business.
Quality Engineer Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited educational institution
- 0-3 years of Quality Engineering or related Engineering experience
Quality Engineer Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Belt certified
- ASQ CQE or CMQ/OE certification
- SAP and/or Salesforce experience
