Job Summary
The Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This position involves identifying areas for improvement, implementing quality assurance protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports and non-conformance reports.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to identify potential quality issues early in the development process.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and testing of materials and processes.
- Train staff on quality assurance principles and methodologies to foster a quality-driven culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools, such as Six Sigma and ISO standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
