Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for conducting standard x-ray examinations and maintaining the operational integrity of imaging equipment, all while following established safety protocols. This position also involves supporting clinical functions by aiding in patient assessments, performing drug tests, and assisting in diverse clinical activities under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine x-ray examinations.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and safety compliance of x-ray equipment.
- Assist with patient physical evaluations and drug testing.
- Support various clinical procedures under clinician supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Active certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- A minimum of six months of experience as a medical assistant.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
