Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of radiographic procedures to create images of the human body for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure the proper operation of imaging equipment and maintain a sterile environment.
- Prepare and assist patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding.
- Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of imaging procedures and patient information.
- Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiologic technology and best practices.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current certification and licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiographic techniques, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges during imaging procedures.
