Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist plays a critical role in the healthcare environment by utilizing imaging technology to assist in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating patients. This position requires a high degree of technical skill and attention to detail in operating radiologic equipment, ensuring safety, and adhering to diagnostic protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare and position patients safely for radiographic procedures.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of images taken in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to uphold cleanliness and functionality.
  • Assist in managing patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
  • Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of radiographic techniques and safety practices.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
