Job Summary
The position involves using medical imaging technology to create high-quality radiographs for diagnostic purposes, ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards and ALARA principles. The role includes conducting portable imaging exams in different departments within the hospital and maintaining precise records in the PACS system.
Responsibilities
- Operate medical imaging equipment to generate diagnostic-quality radiographs.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ALARA policies.
- Perform portable examinations across various hospital departments.
- Ensure accurate documentation of imaging results in the PACS database.
Qualifications
- General x-ray license from the State of Florida.
- ARRT registration required.
- Active certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
