The Radiology Technology Assistant plays a vital role in aiding the diagnostic imaging team by contributing to patient examinations, performing administrative tasks, and preparing examination rooms. Their responsibilities include transporting patients, providing education, and ensuring exceptional service while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED and be in their second year of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or in the process of obtaining licensure. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities are crucial for effective patient engagement.
