Job Summary
The Personal Support Specialist (PSS) / Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) is responsible for providing essential care and assistance to individuals during overnight hours. This role requires a compassionate professional who can support the daily living activities and ensure the comfort and safety of clients in a residential setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care and assistance to clients based on their individual needs.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any side effects.
- Assist clients with basic daily activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Document and report on patient progress, concerns, and any significant changes in health status.
- Foster a supportive and engaging atmosphere for clients during nighttime hours.
Qualifications
- Must be a certified Personal Support Specialist (PSS) and Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA).
- Previous experience in a healthcare or supportive role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
