Job description
**Job Title: Referral Coordinator**
The Referral Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the administrative processes involved in patient referrals, authorizations, and appointment scheduling. This role acts as the main liaison between external healthcare providers and patients. Additionally, the Coordinator offers assistance in patient registration, insurance compliance, and addressing billing issues to foster the delivery of excellent care. Applicants should demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication abilities to engage effectively with both patients and healthcare personnel. A solid grasp of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Microsoft Office is necessary, in addition to a comprehensive knowledge of HIPAA regulations and insurance authorization procedures.
