Job Summary
The Regional Inventory Control Manager will oversee inventory management processes within a designated region, ensuring optimal stock levels and accuracy in inventory tracking. This role is critical for enhancing operational efficiencies and safeguarding company assets through effective inventory oversight.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet regional demands while minimizing excess stock.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with administrative policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to assess inventory needs and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement best practices for inventory management, focusing on cost reduction and service level improvement.
- Lead and develop inventory management teams, providing training and support as needed.
- Analyze inventory trends and generate reports that inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management or a comparable supply chain role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
